ADDENDUM NO. 2

ITEM #1: Contract time Revision

A contingency has been added to the contract time period that states that five (5) calendar days will be added to the existing contract time for each alternate awarded.

ITEM #2: Ramp Replacement

The costs for a truncated dome detectable warning strip should be included in the line item price for each new Curb Ramp. The line item Truncated Dome Strip is for a stand alone application of a detectable warning strip.

ITEM #1: Bid Tab Revision

A contingency item has been added to the base bid for 10 (ten) tons of asphalt for miscellaneous patching and repair. See and use attached Revised Bid Sheet to submit bid proposal.

ITEM #2: SPECIFICATIONS

SECTION 02751 – CEMENT CONCRETE PAVEMENT has been replaced to reflect change from stamped concrete detectable warning to a brick red resin detectable warning truncated dome strip as shown on the plans.

ADA Sidewalk Rehabilitation Project Pre-bid Meeting

The pre-bid conference for the City of Tuscaloosa’s ADA Sidewalk Rehabilitation Project was held yesterday at the Office of the City Engineer. This was a mandatory meeting for all prospective bidders.

ADA Sidewalk Rehabilitation for the City of Tuscaloosa

Bids for the City of Tuscaloosa’s ADA Sidewalk Rehabilitation Project will be opened on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

All bidders shall be Contractor’s licensed in the State of Alabama and bidders shall write their Contractor’s license number on the envelope which contains the bid.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Office of the City Engineer at 1001 28th Avenue.
